75th Anniversary Sociology Library Event
The academic year 2024/2025 marks the 75th anniversary of Sociology at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. To celebrate the occasion, we are delving into the University Archives to explore the origins of the department, showcasing key pioneers in research, highlighting the student experience and considering the impact of Sociological practice on the wider community. Working alongside the University’s Archives & Special Collections, we are curating a new exhibition which will launch in Spring 2025 and will be available to view in the Exhibition Zone of the David Wilson Library.
As part of this we’d like to connect the past with the present, and get your today and its significance for the future! Your views will be included in the exhibition materials, which may include being shared in the exhibition cases as well as on accompanying materials such as posters.
