Together with the Research and Enterprise Team (RED), LD3 helps academics engage early with industry.

LD3 partnerships has considerably increased over the past 5 years and includes:

• Leading pharmaceutical companies
• Small Biotech companies
• Design consultancy companies
• Leading makers of medical devices

Early company engagement facilitates a more rapid progression of projects through the translation pipeline and provides a better understanding of deliverables, milestones and timelines, three keys to successful projects.

LD3 supports industry engagement and collaboration events, providing funding for industry exchange programmes via the UKRI - Impact Acceleration Accounts (IAA) award. These events facilitate development of research partnerships between Industry and the Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
