Health economics is becoming more relevant to us all in the recent years. The healthcare market takes up a significant proportion of the UK GDP and containing the cost is becoming a more pressing issue. We also face a persistent, and a significant shortage of medical staff that can threaten effective delivery of healthcare. How can we control the mounting healthcare cost? How can we overcome the staff shortage problem? These some examples of what you will be discussing in this module.
