University recognised for innovative approach to preparing students for work

Our has been recognised with the award for ‘Preparation For Work by Higher Education - Single Initiative’ by The Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) for a 48 hour work-based challenge for students.

The AGR is an employer-led organisation and the UK’s leading voice on graduate recruitment and development, and announced Leicester’s win at its annual Development Awards in London.

Smart 48 is an initiative the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ has developed with the support of expert agency The Smarty Train, which provides specially selected students the opportunity to take part in a career development programme like no other. Over a period of 48 hours students are exposed to real-life work situations where they have to overcome challenges and put themselves to the test.
