Profile
I am a Postgraduate Researcher at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's School of Museum Studies. I am exploring the use of museum objects as didactic tools to teach the practices, psychoeducational concepts, and attitudes of mindfulness featured in standardised mindfulness-based interventions. I aim to co-design, facilitate, and evaluate a six-week Museum Object-based Mindfulness Training (MOMT) intervention with a particular focus on its effectiveness in supporting students to develop a mindfulness practice and in improving mental health and well-being.

Activities
Steering Group Member at the , a Leicester-based community interest company which aims to improve wellbeing and social connection through creative projects.
Collections Development Officer at the Creative Health at Heritage Hub, Glenfield Hospital, Leicester. An interdisciplinary centre seeking to utilise engagement with visual art, creative arts, and medical heritage artifacts to improve the mental and physical health and well-being of patients, their carers, and their families at the University Hospital's of Leicester NHS Trust.
Freelance Museums and Mindfulness Practitioner who has previously led Leicester Museum and Art Gallery's public programme from February to March, 2024.
Freelance Researcher in the Arts and Heritage Sector. I have previously led research projects exploring the health and wellbeing implications of volunteering at the English Heritage site, Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings (Sep-Nov, 2023) and the experiences of global majority volunteers at the National Trust property, Wightwick Manor and Gardens (Sep, 2024 - ongoing)
