Profile

Indu is the Program Director (Academic) for the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology program, where she provides academic leadership and oversees the development of trainee clinical psychologists. She holds doctoral-level training in Clinical Psychology as well as a PhD in Psychology. Her clinical expertise lies in the area of neurodiversity. She works within the Neurodevelopmental Specialist Services at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, delivering specialist assessments and post-diagnostic support for individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions. She has over a decade of impactful research experience in autism, with a focus on social differences, the presentation of anxiety in autism, and the use of technology for screening and assessment. Her research has advanced understanding and practice in these areas, contributing to improved outcomes for autistic individuals. Throughout her career, Indu has taught in several higher education and on professional psychology programs, demonstrating a strong commitment to training the next generation of clinicians and researchers. With her combined expertise in clinical practice, research, and academic leadership, she continues to work at the intersection of scholarship and practice, shaping the field of clinical psychology and advancing care for neurodivergent populations.
