Meredith Peruzzi is a public historian and museum professional. Her primary historical research field is the history of Gallaudet University, and the history of Deaf education and the Deaf community in the United States. In addition to her work as a museum curator and administrator, she is an internationally-recognized expert on the topic of making exhibitions and programming more accessible to Deaf visitors.

Doctoral research focusing on what it means for a museum to be "Deaf-friendly," and how museums can create welcoming spaces for deaf and hard of hearing visitors where they feel a sense of belonging.
